Team Paintsville has arrived in Kentucky! We arrived at the Christian Appalachian Project last night just before midnight local time. The weather forecasts rain and some lightning over the next few days. Be in prayer that we are still able to accomplish our work. Regardless, we know that God's plans are greater than our own, and that what's more important than the physical labor we anticipate are the relationships that will be formed, the testimony that will be lived out, and the gospel that we will share.
We just had a delicious breakfast including biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, scrambled eggs and more. Now we're beginning training at the CAP Foley Center and we'll head out to our worksites later this morning.
