We met the amazing staff from CAP and all of the volunteers serving with us. We are the only ones from California. We are looking forward to opportunities for getting to know others serving here.
We learned about the families that we will be serving and the staff that will be overseeing us. We look forward to starting our work tomorrow.

We were able to sleep in and get some good rest. We went to breakfast at Billy Ray's, visited the "Cut Through" project, and shopped at the super Walmart.
Saturday, April 1, 2023 - Waiting for Rental Cars
Saturday was a long day of travel. We made it to Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) about 11:30 pm - Kentucky Time. This is the location we will be sleeping at all week.
